Daily Post Fourteen: LolitaWork Libretto and Inspiration

This music video is amazingly beautiful.
Seriously, I had a violent awesome-spazz attack. I love the song, the visuals, and her outifits <3
I find that things like this are one of the things that keep me inspired and interested in lolita. Sometimes it can make one feel very jaded: the same pieces (more or less) from brands, the same photoposts and updates on EGL, etc. Inspiring things can really keep the monotony out of it, finding something like this really reminded why I love lolita so much and why I will probably never really give it up, and that reason is very simple. I like beautiful things, and I find lolita very, very beautiful!

Daily Post Thirteen: MORE Avatar: The Last Airbender Lolita

To be honest, I haven't been doing much else, so I apologize for three posts in a row just of mediocre drawings that I have done.
So, without much ado, two more designs.

Just to let you know, the text says that the sleeves are supposed to be gray. I'm actually considering making this one rather than princess Yue because in the series Yue has very tan skin, and as a readhead, I can say I do NOT have tan skin at all. So Azula would probably be my second choice because it's not ridiculously complex (like kyoshi armor would be) and I already have a brown, curly base wig.

I finished the design for Toph, but was kinda lazy and didn't draw or decide on any acessories, and I also didn't add the hair and hairpiece.

And finally, the beginnings of Ty Lee.

Daily Post Twelve: Avatar: The Last Airbender Loli!

So, I decided to go crazy with loli-fying the Avatar: the last airbender character's outfits, and here they are.
Again, they're rough sketches.
First up, Katara:

Next, Sokka, which design ended up being my least favorite (I'll probably re-draw it differently)

Then, for the lulz, Aang.

Yes, the bonnet is the arrow and it is a female loli outfit. I just didn't think I could take it seriously XD

Daily Post Eleven: Princess Yue Lolita

I LOVE Avatar: the last airbender.
We are currently not speaking about the upcoming (tomorrow!) movie, however. We are talking about my little brain fart of an idea to make a cosplay of the three-episode character Princess Yue.

                (this is for reference/ to refresh your memory. Sokka's feet are irrelevant.)

So, without much introduction needed, this is my really rough concept art of her outfit, lolita version!

If you can't read my writing in the parts, which says "this is fur lol" and "fur" In the parts that are fur.
And Hair Portion:

The text says (from bottom to top) "not sure if I'll keep this or it may be a hime poof" then "huge amount of curls" then "braids"
It's quite a rough sketch and concept, but I think it would be really fun to cosplay for a winter/ fall con!

Daily Post Ten: Finished Steelers Cutsew!

Today, my friends and I had a small "sewing party," which was just an excuse for me to be not so lonely while getting some sewing done (they also needed to get some done too, they are attending Otakon this year) And I finished a reconstruction of an old steelers t-shirt!

I gathered the sleeve with elastic and made a ruffle for the bottom :D
Unfortunately, I forgot to add seam allowances to my drafted pattern so it doesn't really fit. I'll probably have to gift it to a friend that has smaller measurements than I have. Nonetheless, I'm still really proud of it!

Daily Post Nine: Dream Dress~

Dream Dresses. 
Many loli's have one, some don't, which is fine. Mine is currently Angelic Pretty's lavender jewelry jelly dress:

I suppose this is where I should have some deep discussion as to why we lust after things, and yada yada yada. But I'm actually just going to ask you what your dream dress/skirt/jsk is.
Because I'm lazy
Because I'm still recovering from getting my wisdom teeth removed.

Daily Post Eight: Loli Sickness, Cont.

So, here are some tiny tips of little things that brighten your day while you're sick!

• Make a nice cover for your tissue box!
• If you need an ice pack, get a cute one! Like these!
• Wear super fuzzy slippers!
• Decorate old pictures with websites like puricute!
• Watch warm and fuzzy movies like Cinderella and Peter Pan!
• Look at pictures of adorable things on daily squee!
• Read the least serious books you have in your personal library. 
• And last, and probably least, but just relax and try to get better :D
