<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvqovICHqJ33rBvkunHcSBZ-KC7s4SmikzK3c4-PyBYMtBL-APM4WVFxo1QNLTaWfabW09HeB429TnM3G2ONKBQE8TaWWe9mhJe9ngvILbBvuODhdgixlvioQJxT0E-2VdwRF1MQUp-bc/s1600/IMG_0005-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvqovICHqJ33rBvkunHcSBZ-KC7s4SmikzK3c4-PyBYMtBL-APM4WVFxo1QNLTaWfabW09HeB429TnM3G2ONKBQE8TaWWe9mhJe9ngvILbBvuODhdgixlvioQJxT0E-2VdwRF1MQUp-bc/s320/IMG_0005-3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
The best part, by far, is that it is made of stretchy, shiny dance costume type fabric.<br />
So, what is the point? Well, the point is because I am a masochist and bored I decided to attempt to coordinate the most awful jacket I have ever owned.<br />
I thought of two distinct ways of coordinating this: embracing it's crazyness and going along with it, or letting in stand alone by itself. I have three coordinates that follow a simple step process.<br />
<b>Coordinate 1: How to Dress like a member of SHINee </b><br />
First, here is a picture of what sort of outfit I am referring to:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_le2v6wRi7A1qdws1jo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_le2v6wRi7A1qdws1jo1_500.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><b><br />
</b><br />
Step 1: Brightly colored skinny jeans<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLSQOwuP5MRWB6CHcWqjD9cpv_h5rQFv6j5K_STB5VijCCRW5OpoNH-XsYg27hPw1qLzsSXQUl8UKy0FjgsvH7RI_He_o6E1qB5CUAsQgcJ6biXoX3RZIjL5XTdGP4838Tn0orKsko31A/s1600/IMG_0007-4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLSQOwuP5MRWB6CHcWqjD9cpv_h5rQFv6j5K_STB5VijCCRW5OpoNH-XsYg27hPw1qLzsSXQUl8UKy0FjgsvH7RI_He_o6E1qB5CUAsQgcJ6biXoX3RZIjL5XTdGP4838Tn0orKsko31A/s320/IMG_0007-4.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Any color will do, and I happen to have pink ones on hand.<br />
Step 2: Pastel Colored t-shirt<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8XfIs_T68tBScm_eamjZkMaeBOA_h6eLRY85sE9A1UjYWs7IhNsCkU1r-2MtOATUJnmy3uVx6AN-XWOvRVP1ATUTVrurBF8jOXg6B8DxYWacBFds1AX2te460kaNUfSPPuMzqlckTkzk/s1600/IMG_0009-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8XfIs_T68tBScm_eamjZkMaeBOA_h6eLRY85sE9A1UjYWs7IhNsCkU1r-2MtOATUJnmy3uVx6AN-XWOvRVP1ATUTVrurBF8jOXg6B8DxYWacBFds1AX2te460kaNUfSPPuMzqlckTkzk/s320/IMG_0009-3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Next is to find a pastel colored shirt in the same basic color as your jeans. Mine, of course, is pink.<br />
Step 3: Shoes and the jacket of doom<br />
Finally, find yourself a pair of high tops in the corresponding color (I could not find mine at the time, so they aren't in the picture) And finally the jacket of doom.<br />
The result should be something along the lines of a slightly colorblind toddler from the 90s.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi872brr3DJhieAmpdKeXx53-BXlXlS17L1jE3tjeFESxwyrVHnOnx_RKQM7OzsT4mS2apTKmlR_UL9-LqZsd1Yo_RK-C_wv23NMG8F4NmRl7RWYneqTMParUOYX6urPAdQ7uOeeNPrOmU/s1600/jacketcoordpost1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi872brr3DJhieAmpdKeXx53-BXlXlS17L1jE3tjeFESxwyrVHnOnx_RKQM7OzsT4mS2apTKmlR_UL9-LqZsd1Yo_RK-C_wv23NMG8F4NmRl7RWYneqTMParUOYX6urPAdQ7uOeeNPrOmU/s320/jacketcoordpost1.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>SUCCESS <br />
<br />
<b>Coordinate 2: Dressing like a "harajuku girl" </b><br />
For this one, I decided to imitate the look of spank! and Deco style. I'm not quite sure if I succeded, but it was a lot of fun.<br />
Step 1: Basic Pastel Shirt, I used the same one I used for the last outfit.<br />
Step 2: Skirts.<br />
Yup, more than one, and possibly a petticoat. These should be in a color found acceptable to find in a 5 year old girl's room.<br />
Mine are blue gingham and light purple, respectively.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCfcNXlPbKFqRSbVKUC6RMbppN-H67PFjyU8_Zar8-HV-7OX7XILyJmnUhtp5RrwPDVJEjSlLD0FgCqN5VpiPw2aXBK1KOCmtj44tBhbPwCfRr23fFqlTLmo4Ou_1OZbMIENicD5Ed-7g/s1600/IMG_0013-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCfcNXlPbKFqRSbVKUC6RMbppN-H67PFjyU8_Zar8-HV-7OX7XILyJmnUhtp5RrwPDVJEjSlLD0FgCqN5VpiPw2aXBK1KOCmtj44tBhbPwCfRr23fFqlTLmo4Ou_1OZbMIENicD5Ed-7g/s320/IMG_0013-3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p5HSe8sqifA/TWMH5HF3_sI/AAAAAAAACUg/s1600/IMG_0013-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />
</a></div>Step 3: Socks; at least two pairs<br />
and of course, we continue the general rule of only colors that barbies come in.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie1D3_x-2UA9tJLfZjHEO5QXJp8dsTo0zV8NeshmhJd4JySLWj99zXyXUoMH6Sd3p6qqvkDQ2XYaDM5ujH6YyEm2VQFe3ThS-7GR0im5bNp533SNjq4ri-WuSc72qnrMGjPHXa8snaAto/s1600/IMG_0017-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie1D3_x-2UA9tJLfZjHEO5QXJp8dsTo0zV8NeshmhJd4JySLWj99zXyXUoMH6Sd3p6qqvkDQ2XYaDM5ujH6YyEm2VQFe3ThS-7GR0im5bNp533SNjq4ri-WuSc72qnrMGjPHXa8snaAto/s320/IMG_0017-3.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Step 4: Every accessory you own. Put them all on.<br />
Self explanatory.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTsY1MPPfcTZ9lIsgVnI8wdTiromiKcUzhyDfKrpNGTCZA5USBHjJckAN1qYEQIjpmFv05VTA13t3cB_6FkNvg3viSxkfE1UXf6FQZSf87GIpbrDjcFYlEsLzUi9xjvZRXfXJ6Jl7tmDU/s1600/IMG_0016-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTsY1MPPfcTZ9lIsgVnI8wdTiromiKcUzhyDfKrpNGTCZA5USBHjJckAN1qYEQIjpmFv05VTA13t3cB_6FkNvg3viSxkfE1UXf6FQZSf87GIpbrDjcFYlEsLzUi9xjvZRXfXJ6Jl7tmDU/s320/IMG_0016-3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>If the pile isn't at least this large, you're doing it wrong.<br />
Step 4: Shoes & Jacket of Doom<br />
similar to the last outfit, I chose my pink high-tops and then topped the whole thing off with the fated jacket.<br />
Result:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4vwOVTJYUoE4wGYxC31yEhLgjNQIeY84aarFuiQ2zy9pVZczy0_MfI4WWMimILIqYJsLaiBg7CNE7ZZUMgLrFn3ZzxRG7OADZgcnoDnvcUw9hOIvf-A1TyN8NZm4KgqcpUZhFzPENHtA/s1600/IMG_0021-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4vwOVTJYUoE4wGYxC31yEhLgjNQIeY84aarFuiQ2zy9pVZczy0_MfI4WWMimILIqYJsLaiBg7CNE7ZZUMgLrFn3ZzxRG7OADZgcnoDnvcUw9hOIvf-A1TyN8NZm4KgqcpUZhFzPENHtA/s320/IMG_0021-3.JPG" width="230" /></a></div><strike>I actually kind of really like this outfit. </strike>Despite the fact that it doesn't match much and isn't perfect, I think that it may fit the authentic "harajuku" style more.<br />
<br />
<b>Coordinate 3: How I'd Probably look if I were forced to wear this</b><br />
Honestly, on most days, say if this was the only long sleeved thing that remained in my wardrobe, I would probably wear it something similar to this:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0NPtVisi0hdA5O6QP7vXTEGED2NY8MDqOYH-rXeSDyUe8rS3eE5m-yzBQKmhu91aZrRdJWOyebA2zq9sCpJMyhmJimvhn6lWXUtLwwkJn5UQBUhmp9uDwTIvXYXKG44j42rzReabviKw/s1600/IMG_0034-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0NPtVisi0hdA5O6QP7vXTEGED2NY8MDqOYH-rXeSDyUe8rS3eE5m-yzBQKmhu91aZrRdJWOyebA2zq9sCpJMyhmJimvhn6lWXUtLwwkJn5UQBUhmp9uDwTIvXYXKG44j42rzReabviKw/s320/IMG_0034-3.JPG" width="202" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> Complete with miserable look. Why, do you ask, would I be so miserable and lazy while putting this into an outfit? <b>Because no matter what you put around it it is still a dance costume, sequin covered monster of a jacket. </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">And this is how I decided to spend my Monday evening. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Thank you for reading! </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Of course, I am <i>far</i> too resourceful to just go and buy one (read: I'm too lazy and cheap to buy one) so I had a revelation last night as to how I could make one! It is made up of stuff I already had at home and that was quickly found, and it is surprisingly effective!<br />
So, I figured I would show you how to make one!<br />
<b>First: Your materials! </b><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGeyIUG1lxX2nsipq-PSYh8AiDA8t-bED17wyeTTb3m_dAX-Pl55KOaav0D5RecMikfe-j-BcePC9Np_JVrIrCbUNQpVYo3KGnhfoAADRgJblMZRQnJLIlgetlqGhInyB1x6AXBXN1Dzw/s1600/IMG_0082-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGeyIUG1lxX2nsipq-PSYh8AiDA8t-bED17wyeTTb3m_dAX-Pl55KOaav0D5RecMikfe-j-BcePC9Np_JVrIrCbUNQpVYo3KGnhfoAADRgJblMZRQnJLIlgetlqGhInyB1x6AXBXN1Dzw/s320/IMG_0082-1.JPG" width="320" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5rnJK8obVOePTURfznCshVWw0iPJPG5YMTwgfB8G19Tc5UVyvpUG4Jc0AfxGtdp_D4geYzaPD5B9Qcb4zdol3l1VKhVn4vrng_9EbeA0m9-SNWWhryF-PyT6zwcBALmogYmDrpcN8D_8/s1600/IMG_0091-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5rnJK8obVOePTURfznCshVWw0iPJPG5YMTwgfB8G19Tc5UVyvpUG4Jc0AfxGtdp_D4geYzaPD5B9Qcb4zdol3l1VKhVn4vrng_9EbeA0m9-SNWWhryF-PyT6zwcBALmogYmDrpcN8D_8/s320/IMG_0091-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div> You'll need (in case you are incapable of identifying objects in pictures) a garbage bag, newspaper, scissors, duct tape, and a paper bowl. You could probably use a piece of cardboard or a wide paper cup if you don't have one on hand.<br />
<b>Step One:</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpyB_uEASkUEDAzmff98YaEcM-B5UIyQUI7tXBS0r40TQUiUnqzQaRkZl3RM86g7vXWAr_i4LCgl0gJk701Q7304kwz3G0gM7vxnHVo1xOz0y6CvqFJU9ytOoEaxGJ5S_1FRbElJwv684/s1600/IMG_0083-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpyB_uEASkUEDAzmff98YaEcM-B5UIyQUI7tXBS0r40TQUiUnqzQaRkZl3RM86g7vXWAr_i4LCgl0gJk701Q7304kwz3G0gM7vxnHVo1xOz0y6CvqFJU9ytOoEaxGJ5S_1FRbElJwv684/s320/IMG_0083-1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Open up the garbage bag end really wide. You want to work with one of the corners of the bag.<br />
<b>Step Two:</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV7tSM4N0uLsVcxA6kQWKcSb7UtPGCwuQ_d-VtE8JTLojIukrKjxRfuEOfpjIrMyw2NVWb989XlqHaSTAdRjpR4x321cO92HjZnK9O__ZBDqzG_nmjwqZj60QkJciT_rTKIyryEbvdAmo/s1600/IMG_0084-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV7tSM4N0uLsVcxA6kQWKcSb7UtPGCwuQ_d-VtE8JTLojIukrKjxRfuEOfpjIrMyw2NVWb989XlqHaSTAdRjpR4x321cO92HjZnK9O__ZBDqzG_nmjwqZj60QkJciT_rTKIyryEbvdAmo/s320/IMG_0084-1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Crunch the newspaper really really tight. Then start to stuff it into the corner of the garbage bag.<br />
<b>Step Three: </b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ9s1ou0JTkg55ZKtlYCLJFg4KntsHFjxegi2ClUTsOVDKVPgoPsMppOpEf2S4l6xLQ4CRWVSCzJWlXdCcyKrJtlLF2n-5nvtPS2I6wXGW1KXwjmZRSetf_mjRFO0DFFzl1_2LXlrUp_Q/s1600/IMG_0085-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ9s1ou0JTkg55ZKtlYCLJFg4KntsHFjxegi2ClUTsOVDKVPgoPsMppOpEf2S4l6xLQ4CRWVSCzJWlXdCcyKrJtlLF2n-5nvtPS2I6wXGW1KXwjmZRSetf_mjRFO0DFFzl1_2LXlrUp_Q/s320/IMG_0085-1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Start shaping the newspaper balls inside of the bag into what seems to resemble a head. This is up to as little or as much interpretation as you like. <br />
<b>Step Four: </b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH3kBEE7BTf0ouGk0Bb4AvUKHz-X9lHsTFtJBfBy4UJg7wjM2lfgb8sf66hnOwtUQipq1mxLnoJDRCL9O4s-RB7F4n6ejHC07IMj8XWYZbWLj-gL9TBL59I4O1709Vr553YIkgAJH8vFg/s1600/IMG_0086-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH3kBEE7BTf0ouGk0Bb4AvUKHz-X9lHsTFtJBfBy4UJg7wjM2lfgb8sf66hnOwtUQipq1mxLnoJDRCL9O4s-RB7F4n6ejHC07IMj8XWYZbWLj-gL9TBL59I4O1709Vr553YIkgAJH8vFg/s320/IMG_0086-1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Stuff and feneggle your newspaper so that is has enough <strike>tugor pressure </strike>tension to be pretty stable so you can poke/smoosh it gently and it won't effect the shape. The good thing about the newspaper is that even if you're unhappy with it when you're all finished, you can still reshape it.<br />
<b>Step Five (optional):</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcB_ty6bmFvSAz31ysyH17vcaqz9dNX2_RGH4SUxcNyTOupIM7pB6c5LhoyK8iBMszDZVqsgz9CEChF3oEO8vtN8atPyb4HSloLluxeOUkMRGmdslEF_78gzSQ6ecIONwPW0UbiaUzyJY/s1600/IMG_0087-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcB_ty6bmFvSAz31ysyH17vcaqz9dNX2_RGH4SUxcNyTOupIM7pB6c5LhoyK8iBMszDZVqsgz9CEChF3oEO8vtN8atPyb4HSloLluxeOUkMRGmdslEF_78gzSQ6ecIONwPW0UbiaUzyJY/s320/IMG_0087-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>I didn't really like the corner being all pointy and ruining my head shape, so I cut it and put a piece of duct tape over it XD<br />
<b>Step Six:</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJxMbJKz5KkWiLntO2ZdApob-dOOH1GIqiD2z1z5j5ssRC1a6zDIWujGSdhWpPUvpJz07cRSl8C6OiNcJmlTLWjNfoWLtyYLk8W7Jpotca5iIuzffh9_-BC41kOfeOD4aIS8eQrxdwyVs/s1600/IMG_0088-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJxMbJKz5KkWiLntO2ZdApob-dOOH1GIqiD2z1z5j5ssRC1a6zDIWujGSdhWpPUvpJz07cRSl8C6OiNcJmlTLWjNfoWLtyYLk8W7Jpotca5iIuzffh9_-BC41kOfeOD4aIS8eQrxdwyVs/s320/IMG_0088-1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Twist the long end of the garbage bag until it's pretty small. While you hold the twisty end, put pieces of duct tape around the perimeter of the end. <br />
<b>Step Seven: </b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiydhOdseIXweXA5IwelsCtmKOjFdZ-RBVgCw1g8neX5sQAcHioTkQmBHmAW0g7iy87tuKyztcWlK2_wvuIwEPr0KyL7_LvKotQmWlLhm2h5BKcg7Q00-m8_NwjmfloUUedkfuXd8x9HJU/s1600/IMG_0089-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiydhOdseIXweXA5IwelsCtmKOjFdZ-RBVgCw1g8neX5sQAcHioTkQmBHmAW0g7iy87tuKyztcWlK2_wvuIwEPr0KyL7_LvKotQmWlLhm2h5BKcg7Q00-m8_NwjmfloUUedkfuXd8x9HJU/s320/IMG_0089-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Then just cut away the rest of the garbage bag and put another piece of duct tape over it! <br />
<b>Step Eight:</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXjwJSVLMYg7hHzmR_dowzO_rBFJ0vjYHFAzROdwLWZ2_dAL3kagxUShD3XsKE_8ke0EIqyzmSJ-N5cUvn-n-kEVzlPZQV_rwV8hsH6Cj0oSMtmK0Jfw3UcDFxSetwkOiJeKjH4INeGyA/s1600/IMG_0092-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXjwJSVLMYg7hHzmR_dowzO_rBFJ0vjYHFAzROdwLWZ2_dAL3kagxUShD3XsKE_8ke0EIqyzmSJ-N5cUvn-n-kEVzlPZQV_rwV8hsH6Cj0oSMtmK0Jfw3UcDFxSetwkOiJeKjH4INeGyA/s320/IMG_0092-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div> Now it's time to construct the base! I cut around the edge of the bowl to get rid of the rim. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvhRRLGnUye0maCcAK6oHpTF1NCIrXUgDVkypA5DKGq4RLm9K_G66n_k1Lmuj0jH94gkxgccalwDt1nvYqnLZFeSIwU0LQUyhrbJPxCiq-7UUEMIHFL3fpx9Pp9FlDWFtRBs1mXM_x2W8/s1600/IMG_0093-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvhRRLGnUye0maCcAK6oHpTF1NCIrXUgDVkypA5DKGq4RLm9K_G66n_k1Lmuj0jH94gkxgccalwDt1nvYqnLZFeSIwU0LQUyhrbJPxCiq-7UUEMIHFL3fpx9Pp9FlDWFtRBs1mXM_x2W8/s320/IMG_0093-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Just for a little visual, this is how you want to tape the stand to the newspaper ball (head? whatever you want to call it).<br />
<b>Step Nine:</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1S9bO-e45xYDwsxY2qj6mSG_G1DMhggpvLnwIJ3LIn9oTiBJSF9c6p_hk-HPeSGsKLd3t3Ong50ATw2NVrNgqA_4Et8V3Rt_RMj_kOPGWnn7rZ7qtG9S7nEDQn0jEdvrxjrOdVrf9YQs/s1600/IMG_0094-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1S9bO-e45xYDwsxY2qj6mSG_G1DMhggpvLnwIJ3LIn9oTiBJSF9c6p_hk-HPeSGsKLd3t3Ong50ATw2NVrNgqA_4Et8V3Rt_RMj_kOPGWnn7rZ7qtG9S7nEDQn0jEdvrxjrOdVrf9YQs/s320/IMG_0094-1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div> Tape the stand and head together a few times around and you're done, unless you're crazy like me:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpqToArOuqWKgHA99ozHpSd8TVqpTSzSL8eyr28k2A-NhXis30AsYw3UYPndbtRgFIxg7Ob7oPYbDwclpVQRd_nyeqM6fheHUr0cOlCGJWd2orgHX5KMcHsN2LuuzxsF9xcj0_qqQ1ClQ/s1600/IMG_0095.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpqToArOuqWKgHA99ozHpSd8TVqpTSzSL8eyr28k2A-NhXis30AsYw3UYPndbtRgFIxg7Ob7oPYbDwclpVQRd_nyeqM6fheHUr0cOlCGJWd2orgHX5KMcHsN2LuuzxsF9xcj0_qqQ1ClQ/s320/IMG_0095.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>And I covered the base in tape too because it's shiny (or something..)<br />
<b>Now you're done! Use your new wig stand to store/display!</b><br />

I'd like to say I've been really busy with school or something, but honestly I've just been reallly lazy lately. Also, I've been lacking in things to post about. But I am planning on writing a post on some interesting/funny/heartbreaking reactions I've gotten to wearing loli to school lately.<br />
Thanks for reading! <3Emily Janehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006548333295383089noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911440626563293526.post-41900415876146532252010-09-20T13:43:00.001-07:002010-09-20T13:43:03.670-07:00Very Detailed Bodyline Review!<b>My bodyline stuff came in on Monday! </b><br />
I got three items, and I took tons and tons of pictures.<br />
<b>Shipping/Packaging: </b>I ordered on Thursday (The 9th) and it arrived Monday (the 13th) I didn't take pictures of the packaging because I was very excited to open it, but it came in a white cardboard box that was slightly damaged. Inside, there was my friend's tote bag on top, then the shoes, wrapped in tissue paper, and the clothes in red plastic Bodyline envelopes. I knew that the packaging is usually done this way, so no surprises. <br />
<b>Cardigan: Item ****** in off white- $19 </b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxlkW2JIsGdXzvNNmpQy_jToxeK3YCnvLLhnIXoXW3SMy1dcA2sxAwlGn9HHgFWNcrNnqUYIqkWthvteCrnV1XUc2IkVmIJM1ZURRWhW7Is83kFC7taKGwHHVGHMbbzie2qTABb2sFCwI/s1600/IMG_0135.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxlkW2JIsGdXzvNNmpQy_jToxeK3YCnvLLhnIXoXW3SMy1dcA2sxAwlGn9HHgFWNcrNnqUYIqkWthvteCrnV1XUc2IkVmIJM1ZURRWhW7Is83kFC7taKGwHHVGHMbbzie2qTABb2sFCwI/s400/IMG_0135.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><b> </b>Full View of Cardigan. It is a very light flannel sort of fabric, and it's slightly see through, but not very much so. It's not terribly warm, about the weight of regular long sleeve shirt. It's very soft and comfortable. The sizing was very accurate: on the website it lists the measurements as 34.5 in, *******<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFDHzPNvZgd3CghMiq6G9beYn1CF2rPL_gMdBfvHlCprcQN9Ai7uzS22UD8Z1VsbNOsG3t2wjhbpj5MyFxZyJx9KyDbR2kz5tzoU-SaAS7YFOYWoYpX0lei_Kue9Gh8aYKqI9B6O7E2yc/s1600/IMG_0136.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFDHzPNvZgd3CghMiq6G9beYn1CF2rPL_gMdBfvHlCprcQN9Ai7uzS22UD8Z1VsbNOsG3t2wjhbpj5MyFxZyJx9KyDbR2kz5tzoU-SaAS7YFOYWoYpX0lei_Kue9Gh8aYKqI9B6O7E2yc/s400/IMG_0136.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>The sleeve: As you can see, it's a puff sleeve with a straight sleeve attached and a ruffle with lace and a ribbon bow at the end. <br />

I also assume that it will go away in the wash.<br />
Finally, it worn:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifKmx9M8uEEx76il5qGvAcDsMKP3hFLavH2yV_ND2jHb9Ca4r-PalZF5Ozi4Oa4VikLHg3Mn9SOHHoWBxgSDWyjdAiQ9RsvSDRm8ZjLkgkGLHMabbfM6H4dyCcYLgxuE8VbKmDa5aawdc/s1600/IMG_0175.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifKmx9M8uEEx76il5qGvAcDsMKP3hFLavH2yV_ND2jHb9Ca4r-PalZF5Ozi4Oa4VikLHg3Mn9SOHHoWBxgSDWyjdAiQ9RsvSDRm8ZjLkgkGLHMabbfM6H4dyCcYLgxuE8VbKmDa5aawdc/s400/IMG_0175.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Next, we have the <b>Fairy From Forest Jumperskir</b>t Item ******* In Sax - $31<br />
<br />
I don't have a full view of this, but the stock photo is almost exact to the item, so it is easy to see the full view there. First, we have the detial of the bodice:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuV2MxgYeGvWbeXHiSVVvWGmYdn8FMh2dR1b-RbmWt2I4yA4_mjdGpAK4ZS4vK2trQEyYy4-GGnbaowopKx95DJpLrgsWlt8U0TIGvNoldHpvT6varpEnUGaq97MTg6lxEMFaDQk4AOks/s1600/IMG_0143.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuV2MxgYeGvWbeXHiSVVvWGmYdn8FMh2dR1b-RbmWt2I4yA4_mjdGpAK4ZS4vK2trQEyYy4-GGnbaowopKx95DJpLrgsWlt8U0TIGvNoldHpvT6varpEnUGaq97MTg6lxEMFaDQk4AOks/s400/IMG_0143.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>(My computer is currently refusing to rotate this)<br />
Here you can see detial of the top of the print, as well as the halter-style straps. It hooks in the back with to small hook-and-eye clasps that keep the lapels down neatly. The lapels themselves are made of a slightly satin-y fabric that is different than most of the dresses. It isn't overly shiny, which is really nice especially for such an inexpensive dress.<br />

Now, we move on to the border print~ It's three different scenes:<br />

I will probably sew the small one to the front of the dress and make the large into a headbow, so the quality of the pins matters little to me. But I thought others would find it useful!<br />
ALSO DO NOT IRON THE LACE ON THE DRESS. IT MELTS.<br />
<b>Part 2 coming sometime when I feel like it~</b><br />

Bodyline is currently on "sale"<b>, </b>meaning that they cut their recently hiked-up prices for said sale. I figured that it would be a good time to buy, and I realized that the other lolitas in my very local lolita group would probably also want to order, so I asked them to give me their orders and have them pay me back in order to save money on shipping. It's difficult to resist cheap items with cheap shipping, so I got three items for myself!<br />
First, the most boring thing, is a white cardigan that will be super duper helpful in cordination:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/photos/l133-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/photos/l133-2.jpg" width="347" /></a></div>(It's way in the back- but it's there!) I don't have too high expectations for this, and my greatest hope that it will provide enough warmth for the freak air conditioning at school.<br />
Second, I ordered a pair of white shoes!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/photos/shoes168-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/photos/shoes168-2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>These appear to be tea party shoe replicas, which I don't quite mind. I ordered them true to my American size(7and1/2-8 or 250mm) , so right now I'm praying that they're going to be the right size!<br />
And lastly, the most exciting, is the "Faeries from Forest" Jumperskirt in sax blue!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/photos/l226-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/photos/l226-2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I think this JSK is a perfect balance between elegant and sweet: with the "Love Nadia" style scenery and the cute scallop lapels making it very elegant, but the Angelic Pretty-esque floating objects towards the top and polka dots at the bottom making it still really sweet! My only concern is that the bow in the back is not detachable, and I'll have to remove it myself so I can wear jackets and such over it. <br />
So, expect a review of all of these coming soon! (Hopefully Saturday, but Monday if shipping is slow)<br />

Tomorrow.<b>0_0 </b><br />
I'm going to wake up tomorrow morning, get on the bus, and go to the high school. Then I'm going to go to class there, eat lunch there, talk to my friends there, and go home. And this is going to continue for the next four years. This fact sorta kinda blows my mind. Despite this being mind-blowing, I'm really very excited for high school. I don't know quite what to expect, and all I've heard for certain is that it will be "different". So I'm setting my sights on making this year the most loli one :3 I've got all of my school supplies all decorated up (save for a few, but I'll have to get to them later) and I have my first day outfit all laid out.<br />
And, duh, I have pictures.<br />

The crisp cool morning air, the beautiful leaves swirling from the treetops, the wonderful apple cider and pumpkin pie.. And one thing I really love about fall is that it cools down enough to wear regular lolita! I get tired of having to omit a petticoat or not being able to wear a caplet I love just because it's hot outside.<br />
I decided to make a list of things I love doing in the fall!<br />
<ul><li>I love wearing sweaters and scarves. I tend to get really cold during the day, and it warms me right up! I have an amazing Gap scarf that I love, and I wear it all the time in the fall.</li>
<li>I love to drink lots of apple cider! It's healthier than apple juice, and it tastes better! The easiest place to find apple cider is at a farmer's market or "organic" stores like Whole Foods.</li>
<li>I love to go picking pumpkins! I know Halloween seems far away, but I still love going out and picking pumpkins~</li>
<li>I love curling up with a good book, especially a classic. This fall I plan to read<i> Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. </i></li>
<li>I love to listen to some new music that reminds me of fall<i>~</i></li>
</ul><b>Thank you for reading <3 </b><i><br />

I've read plenty of magnificent articles on the subject by many magnificent lolita bloggers, but that is not what I am writing about today. Today, I'm writing about how the personal ideals for a lolita differ so greatly from your "average" girl. At camp recently, I have come in close experience with how normal girls want to be. I had a ton of time to talk about these kind of things with my friends there, and two very interesting ideals showed themselves clearly to me.<br />
The first ideal that a normal girl has that a lolita does not is striving to have a perfect tan. I heard endless chatter about how much the girls had tanned, what their tan lines were like, and how they wanted to improve their tans. As a redhead, I find tanning rather useless normally, but I also do as a lolita. Myself, like many other lifestylers, try to dress more modestly, even outside of lolita. (By modestly, I generally mean wearing longer shorts and tops without a low cut) I find that when I dress in some sort of casual lolita every day, it doesn't matter if I have a great bathing suit tan, because I'm all covered! Even disregarding the dispute on whether or not lolitas need to be pale, I find that tanning is the least priority for a lolita, opposed to the highest priority for a normal girl. <br />

I forgot how much I missed lolita over my time at camp. I try to stick to plain t-shirts and shorts at camp, which always feels weird to me at the beginning of the term at camp, but towards the end I start to get used to my "camp uniform". Time has really shown that I really do love loli a lot, and I'm just as in love with it as I was when I first discovered it. Wow, now I just sound like an annoying girlfriend.<br />
Anyway, I decided to get right back up on the horse and get to some sewing today, using the fabric that my mom got for me in Philly while I was gone (10 yards of blue gingham o_0) So here is a picture of the skirt I made!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLkTpB3i_uw7MCEmxH5fe-hs2GQ7W4lykstscmYaVEXG40vs8n2E7e-Y55Lk9Dr1005MYs6FVFZbqR1Fga8n4VlhvCFgl1c-cbx0q8tIHlGXRxg2fhck48R6kBo6Q1kCZ81Y9kEsmCqtE/s1600/IMG_0002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLkTpB3i_uw7MCEmxH5fe-hs2GQ7W4lykstscmYaVEXG40vs8n2E7e-Y55Lk9Dr1005MYs6FVFZbqR1Fga8n4VlhvCFgl1c-cbx0q8tIHlGXRxg2fhck48R6kBo6Q1kCZ81Y9kEsmCqtE/s400/IMG_0002.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>It's kind of plain, but I'm planning on adding to it soon~<br />
Well, I'm really tired, so I'm going to end here.<br />

We (My friend Katie and I) Used a recipe from <i>Family Fun</i> magazine. Here's how they went~!<br />

Now, they don't look like traditional macarons, and they aren't that pretty, but they were so so delicious, and that definitely made up for that. They were so delicious that there aren't even any left now XD<br />

Nonetheless, it was a ton of fun, and here are some pictures: (and gasp! they have actual people's faces in them!)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqtmtbKU4WIpUCgTJyEQYb8F1wlpZO27eFEFNjaf0WslSDvdC7er3mc_Hee5WUvmpt8Rfn3X3bXKuFRLd09_TULnDanblSvtr8TucyI7MY0D33bVCStsO87k8NDRHjXELHA22pOiV7qXw/s1600/IMG_0004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqtmtbKU4WIpUCgTJyEQYb8F1wlpZO27eFEFNjaf0WslSDvdC7er3mc_Hee5WUvmpt8Rfn3X3bXKuFRLd09_TULnDanblSvtr8TucyI7MY0D33bVCStsO87k8NDRHjXELHA22pOiV7qXw/s400/IMG_0004.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>We waited for a long time on this bench...<br />

It's really popular right now, and I'm sure that if you're an anime fan you have heard of it. However, I do think that it's definetly looked over as a very loli-applicable manga! So here is a review of Vampire Knight volumes 7&8 (because I had already read the first 6 and these two are fresh in my mind) written and drawn by Matsuri Hino~<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiPQvTS0Lf5kD53-4t2pHLQ6IrDk7BapsNl0iQ4grh8GmkSGyFVl8ZkzJVdnALqpd-ja2j5CcxZiWbnUVzZxiyLY-eme5wLpFLGHIU6dvGYujG7P65f3pSddV9P4rm5Q2ubLUfJ8r4L54/s1600/vampireknight07.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiPQvTS0Lf5kD53-4t2pHLQ6IrDk7BapsNl0iQ4grh8GmkSGyFVl8ZkzJVdnALqpd-ja2j5CcxZiWbnUVzZxiyLY-eme5wLpFLGHIU6dvGYujG7P65f3pSddV9P4rm5Q2ubLUfJ8r4L54/s320/vampireknight07.jpg" /></a></div><b>Art: </b>I LOVE the art in this manga. I love everything from the character's faces to the architectural detail. All of the characters are very, very pretty~ I don't have too much else to say on this matter, so to be brief: I basically read this manga because the art is so great.<br />
<b>Story:</b> I am really torn on whether or not I am really happy with the plot of VK. I find it interesting, and not overtly cliche. However, I find that it can be incredibly confusing at times, especially when a character is introduced without a proper explanation as to who they are, and I also find that many of the characters look similar to each other. I find that when not confusing, however, that the plot is engaging and keeps it fresh and not dull.<br />
<b>Why a lolita would like it: </b>The primary reason a loli would like this is the <i>clothes</i>. Especially in the bonus art between chapters, there are many beautiful designs worthy of Altier Boz and Alice and the Pirates. I find that even the school uniform has a very aristocratic feel to it, if you discount the traditional pleated skirts. The outfits alone entertain me for the incredibly confusing spells that I sometimes face reading this series, XD. And of course, there is almost nothing more gothic than some real, blood-sucking vampires.<br />
Overall, I really liked this manga, and I think I would recommend it for anyone that likes stories of romantic tension and lots of eye candy :D<br />

And first, you have to wonder, what makes people able to "pull off" a certain thing? Is it some deep-ridden spirit that allows you to? Is it that you have to look a certain way to wear it? The answer to these is <i>no</i>.<br />
In fact, you can "pull off" whatever you want! The only key to wearing what you want is to have confidence in what you're wearing! I personally like to pretend that everywhere I go is my own personal runway, and the people are only staring because that's what runways are for! Now, I might just be being silly, but I find that it makes me feel more comfortable wearing whatever I want.<br />
So, I suppose the conclusion is, whether you're wearing pajamas or OTT, as long as you are confident you can "pull it off"!<br />
